Nicee!! This looks great! In my opinion, i would remove the ears from the squirrel and replace them with the horn, to create something stranger. Good luck!
edit: Chipmunk* sorry xD
Killer entry killer vote...LMAO
hahaha awesoem! the horns just add a certain umph that i cant resist! they add a very nice affest to the image and you couldnt have chosen a better animal to do! chimpmunks are cute and scary at the same time! great image author i like it a lot!

he's actually kinda cute (the eyes are wondrous)
He doesn't looks overly demonic, but subtle work is always nice. good luck!
its pretty darn simple but the image is kewl! the eyes look great and so do the teeth but they could use some darkening though who cares!

This is a bit of an understated one -- I wanted to keep as much of the feel of the original scene as possible, while making the face even more recognizable as a face.
The "story" running through my head while making this involves the stone giant eating passerby and, each time, experiencing regret and weeping its victim's blood.
Easter egg: find the skull...
Only used 3 outside sources, referenced below.
I'm a bit of a Bézier curve junkie so there was a fair amount of clipping and masking, along with some pixel-by-pixel touch-ups on the desert brush by the rock.
Thanks to Lip Kee for the vulture, Sam Felder for the sand, and Eris for the skull.
Please let me know your thoughts! Thanks! (5 years and 3811 days ago)
i think it has a nice story behind it, and trying to find the skull will keep some people entertained xD Very nice, different image that involves the viewer as much as possible. Good luck!!
i had so much fun with this image... it reminded me of searching for Waldo in one of the newspapers... and i found the hidden egg... but i am not going to say where it is... lol very original...
nice work.. as simple as it seems as an image.. you can really appreciate the work.. the WHERE"S WALDO effect is very well done
nice image i just love the blood its very cool and the descripton is awesome! the cracks look good and so does the overall image!

Awwww... Cute Great Work!!!
Light source is from left, so the hound wouldn't have that shadow...
A goat hound devil( demon) animal... Cool...
That big "shadow" is more of a burn really....maybe it doesn't work, but there was too much white on the hound
first I thought it was a goat from hell but then it's really a dog which looks evil; right on theme
i think you should work a bit on the fangs
very nice... i think this was a cute dog before you messed up... lol just kidding...
nice entry. just me but i think the background draws away from your hound alittle,
good work and goodluck

i feel the same way about the bell tower they built in the middle of our city lol
Needs a shadow...
great, maybe a little ground shadow around the base of the stone?
very cool image! nice feel! agree with cmyk
Maybe you could try softening up the shadow a little by blurring it. Good luck!
Since you don't know where it came from, I got the feeling that it was dropped there. I was looking for an impact dent in the sand. But my vision of course isn't yours, but I think that that would have been cool. Nice job, the shadow needs softening like someone else said.
Stone the crows this is good
gl
Meka & Medina... that is called the place where the muslimans assemble to celebrate the great stone that has fallen from sky into the dessert... that was in my mind when i looked at this... nice...
