Anaglyph (red/cyan glasses) - created by manelic

Only those of you who have 3d glasses (red/cyan) will be able to see what I did to the source Image.
Basically I used the Vanishing Point feature to create a different perspective of the room.

Then I replaced the red channel in the source image with the one in mine.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

LOLOLOL..at first I was like WTF? and then I realized what you did and laughed and laughed.. really cool thinking author.. very out of the box LOL good luck

author says:

Thanks! Sometimes its hard to explain (specially with my rusty english).

avatar trim49
trim49 says:

Ohhhhhh, I thought I was needing bi-focal glasses. Thanks for telling what you did.

author says:

LOL ! I think I could suggest a contest on photoshop made anaglyphs, that would be fun!

avatar EmiK
EmiK says:

I don't know how to vote for you. I don't have the glasses to see how well it came out. =(

author says:

I know that would happen EmiK, my intention is not to get voted in this case, but to give an idea about a different way to use photoshop . Creating anaglyphs is fun and far more easy than what people may think.

I took a picture of a friend of mine and made a vector of it. Lots and lots of pen tool used to select areas and fill them with color. The only source used was the picture of my friend that you can see in the step by step. (5 years and 3324 days ago)

Extracted Vents from source image, used Free Transform to fit to background image and adjusted Hue and Saturation.
Applied Cooling filter 80 to image to adjust lighting, and then used Clone Tool to smooth imperfections. (5 years and 3363 days ago)

Good idea for this source author. Nice fix on the two round shadows. My suggestion, see if you can put a green and a red glow behind each lens. I'll wait to vote.

author says:

The newer 3d glasses use polarized filters, not the old red/green or red/blue lenses. I considered your suggestion, and tried it, but it looked "too" manipulated (as if air vent glasses didn't look manipulated...lolol!)

Thank you so much for your comments, though. It's nice to know someone's looking!

Good idea, but the masking on the glasses could be better...try giving the glasses a shadow, too.

avatar Lamantine
Lamantine says:

lol nice idea

avatar hereisanoop

no its not .... you need to think.. on that.. need some shades under the glasses where it toudhes the face and nose.. ( i have still a doubt that the area behind the spects should be 'a little' darker) Still like it, Good job.. and good luck.!!

avatar jawshoewhah
jawshoewhah [banned] says:

It seems like the frames of the glasses could have been better edged as well but it's hard to tell in this resolution size.

avatar pingenvy
pingenvy says:

nice idea. Try working with the pen tool, converting paths to selections, for smoother curves. You will be happy with your results.
