Apart from some perspective problems a great scene. Looks like a lot of work!
Thanks ! Could you tell me please where are the perspective problems? I can't change it now but I would like to know for future works...
Makes me think of the movie 'WOman in Black' - love the intricate work you have put into this. Good luck
Thanks Heathcliffe!
If you would extend the lines of the tiles on the floor, they would cross at horizon level. This means you would need to see also the upper side of the fireplace.
I see what you mean, thanks for the answer !

This old chicken house was perfect for this contest, thanks to cindy47452 at flickr.com. It is a take-off, of course, of the well-known painting 'American Gothic' by Grant Woods. You can take a look at it at Wikipedia if you're not familiar with it. (5 years and 3081 days ago)

WOW! Great entry!
Thanks Robster.
Great, with a preraphaelite feeling
I don't know what that means, but it sounds fancy.
Well, it is a British art movement:

and your chop makes me think of Ophlia:
