i still have to work on it i know but wanted to post fast so i can encourage you to do the same thing :) (5 years and 2709 days ago)
You spend just enough time to come up with a rough sketch, but lack finishing it. This could turn out interesting, but right now, there are too many rough parts for me to judge it well. Take your time, work out the details, and finish it...you will be much more happy with the results.

As the dusk creep in,
After a long and tiring day;
The guardian watches,
Keeping all harm at bay.

Good blend & very colorful. I'd remove the phantom part of the mountain from the castle pic...it looks like it could somehow be a ghost of the rear wing, which is too small.
? I dont understand... explain
See the shape behind the eagle head & to our right? That's what I meant. And IMO the rear wing is too small. Still a good pic.
yup! lot less distracting
Very cool. Nice work!
Thanx
soft and sweet well done author... perfect for another Narnia movie
This is a cool picture, nice work. I think the wings would look better at rest along the sides of that cat. That's just 2 cents worth.
I thought the same... I looked and looked for a suitable pair and found nothing I liked... so up it is lol
Beautiful image, very fantasy-like. Well chopped montage.
Thank you so much
Congrats. Well deserved win!

I really like this image, author! I have one suggestion for you though...slowly lighten the main shadow as it gets further from the bench. Look at the bench shadow. See how soft and light it is? Try and replicate that look for the main shadow. Right now, it looks a bit too uniform and dark. Just a thought...
Hey thanks for the suggestion.. though i cant edit this now it would meant all the loss of vote.
I'll definitely keep that in mind next time..
I have used photoshop after a year.

Great idea I like it a lot.
My suggestion is that you clean the man and bench, it's not that pretty in high res and I agree with pixelkid regarding the shadow it should be a little more soft and light.
But overall it's really cool.
Thanks

Jibilitteri: Thanks for your comment, as you can see, I changed the image. This was the original posting. Just waited for approval to use the window ruins stock.
This has a beautiful feel to it. Nice work, author. The only thing that distracts me is that the moon is in the background, yet there is a light source causing the brightness on the front of the tree and the woman. This could be electronic light, but judging from the feel of the shot...it wouldn't be artificial light. Don't mean to be too nitpicky...I love the image...just the analytical side of me is getting the better of me. Nice work, author.
pixelkid: I appreciate your comments. I had to go back to mi original posting. I was waiting for approval to using the window ruins stock. Hope the light in this one is better.

Nice and simple but I think the tree looks slightly too pale in the picture.
Agree with James about the tree. But apart from that well blended.
