i used the deck to make the body of the guitar, i used the log for the fret board, the metal on the log for the frets, i also used the log to make the trim. (5 years and 3645 days ago)

cool
good use of source image.... good luck.....!
I like your unique use of source. The irony here is great! Perhaps soften your edges...
I agree with pixelkid. Soften your edges withliquify/push tool and maybe add some burn and dodge to give it more definition.
tips provided by other posters would improve.. Love the sign.. GREAT use of source.

Figure is distorted...
author..if you want higher points you will need to return your image to the proper aspect ratio of your figure (you might want to up the saturation on the guitar color so it pops more.. (it will help in the voting process, but this is a very good idea)
idea is good...........................but da xecution is bad...................
Thanks for the advice

very cool
Looks very nice, but the one in the middle and the one on the right look flat, (maybe a perspective issue, or maybe its deliberate.) Either way, a very creative use of source. Good luck!

wow, this is good! There are two little spots that are not so rounded. The upper part around the left of the curve in the middle and then the left corner.Holding vote.
ohhhh, and one more thing to make it perfect...add just a hint of the adjusting knobs on the other side. Just a little fraction showing of those.
K5683 thanks for suggesstion, working on your advice.
EDIT : Updated
Nice, creative idea. Just one thing, background could be brighter just to make more contrast between it (the background) and the guitar.Everything else looks great!
Background seems great to me. It has a soft effect to it. Too white and it'll be too bold in my opinion and then take away from the guitar. I don't know a lot though so it is really up to the author.
AWESOME! High marks from me!
awesome!! looks so real I think u must post the tutorial link too if used
Awesome work! Good luck!
looks real
Thanks to all for comments, Nisha I have used only ref which I already posted in source link and no tutorial used, just experimenting that what source part should be suitable for which guitar part. Beside this treetransform, warping, masking and some drawing work.
This gives a new meaning to "They shall beat their swords into plowshares." I absolutely love the concept; however, in an actual classical guitar, the strings are wound around pegs inside of the grooves in the head. Your strings to straight to the heads of the pegs, which makes no sense. Still, good marks from me.
U r very talented author I have always wanted to make a guitar(using tutorials and all) ...but i have never tried till now coz mostly the guitar tutorials are very long LOL
I think ur entry will make a great tutorial too
visba thanks for pointing out string issue, I have fixed it. Nisha thanks for your fav. and appreciation, I will try to write detail tutorial.

oh, i also drew some of the things like the strings, controls, and the switch
i think you would have a better result if u used a guitar from the internet. and the source image is a bit hard to see. tho it's kinda cool
Would be nice to see reference for the guitar or SBS...
just don't get it...but a great guitar!
this is suppose to be as if a giant person/ god of some sort had placed his guitar on earth
