It doesn't look like a single picture, but a bunch of images pasted together. Blending, as ankit said, is the art of making the separate images fit together and look like one. Different lighting, image resolutions, perspectives and shadows all contribute to this blending.

My simple advice for this one, try removing the front cat and mouse - might make an immediate difference. Keep practicing!

Funny creature . Apart from above comments, I'd recommend to use the texture of the source image to fill the creature's body/head and the leaf. If you do so, then try not to overstretch the texture (thought that's personal, I like it if the texture is still recognizable). Good luck!
