Good idea, but you need to remove the brick lines that run from the outside of the sphere to the interior walls. The light on the girl is from upper right, so the wall to her left would be darker than the wall on her right, and the shadow of the sphere wouldn't be directly underneath.
yes , now I see with the light, but with the brick, the sphere is open its not wall on back just the background (the big wall), thanks.
I meant from the surface of the sphere to the walls inside the sphere next to her. Take a look. (If you don't get it, please PM me. I don't want to sound like I'm bashing your work, I want it to be even better).
Really cool! SBS please, wanna know how that sphere is done.
Some very cool stuff here. I think there needs to be a crisper edge between the sphere and the back wall as they are apparently not connected as evidenced by the shadow and the fully lit wall behind the model. The lighting on the model in the nook should be more shadowy (i.e., match the model's shadow to the sphere's if you don't want to follow CMYK46's suggestion to match the sphere's shadow to the model's, although that would probably be easier [plus possibly more dramatic and might allow for deleting the floor altogether]). Her long tresses could not hang straight down like that if her head were in the center of the nook.
thank you dan and CMYK, I will try to do the both version of the light and Dan the hair I saw later that need corrections, you are right.
this looks cool i always like a good floating sphere for some reason lol
The shadows of her body are not so visible on the ground.
wow... truely amazing shot to me!

very nice image -- like the varied uses you found for the souce
I like this alot, a great idea and the whole thing has real depth. The only thing bothering me is the bridge/path type structure in the foreground... the curve and lack of support looks a little odd, I`m not even sure its essential to the image. Great work! well done
Geexman, good point, the ramp is bowed from age and humidity from water location, but I'll see if there are any pieces of wood left for a support.
Edit - added a vertical support which took some of the bow out of the ramp.
And CMYK, I've added a strip under that far edge as well as a piece under the front edge of the bench. Thanks, guys! Also brought up the brightness and hue/sat adjustments.
Edit - brought the level of the ramp up to the porch, now there's no trip hazard! also beefed up the thickness of the ramp's edge and took most of the curve out.
Walkway need supports, and has no thickness at far edge compared to the front edge.
Hey!
I arrived after the changes so... from my point of view this is a really nice work!
Congratulation, Author!
I love how you made everything out of the bench and background!
Really Really Really Good

Lovely work ... great depth, blending, composition and attention to detail! Bravo!
Superb work. like the color and mood you created here. GL
Thanks very much for all the comments! Since that ramp is beefed up now, everyone can safely come on over - party after the contest! I've got a bunch of dusty ol' bottles in there - aged to perfection - just for the occasion.
But you gotta FIND the place first!
This mix of mystery and fear makes the image very nice!
Just in time for Halloween, looking real spooky and all. I like how you did the walk way, the post in the water, and the reflections... they look great.
Amazing work author...Overall mood is perfect, colors, tones...well done

Pristine work! Small suggestion...the perspective shadow seems a bit too neutral starting by the feet. Warm that up a bit and it'll be awesome! I really like it!
