Used all my stock but the plaid which belongs to Qbit71 from DA
I had a tough time with making the leggings looks real. I tried adding shadows and highlights but couldn't seem to get the edges perfectly smooth. (5 years and 2877 days ago)

the candy photo is amazing.. really is unique and wonderful.. (now let me go take my insulin shot LOL)

(warp and puppet warp are a great tool to make PLAID round out over curves )

avatar Akassa
Akassa says:

Very good idea but the character has wrong shadows, the light source seems to come from left and you have lights from left.

author says:

Thanks for the suggestions. I used warp to get a more rounded look on the legs. I also tried to fix the lighting. Hope it looks better.

nice one -- some minor things with the mask for the girl -- around the right boot and below the left boot and in the hair at the nape of the neck

author says:

Thanks for pointing it out. I fixed them.

Everything but the deer (which is my own photo) is created from the source photo - layers upon layers. Tiny pieces of the green hose makes up the pine, bricks became flowers, as did the hose nozzle. Happy Holidays!! (5 years and 3261 days ago)

Beautiful and what a lovely choice for this time of year! Amazing amount of work ... the pine needles alone ...whew! It make me tired just looking at them. Well done Author!

Author you have got to be one of the most meticulous artists! This is amazing. How many layers did you end up with?? You have me curious!

avatar George55

That is a beautiful arrangement for the holidays! You did a great job again. Good luck author.

avatar pearlie
pearlie says:

Beautiful work, author! Did you do flower arrangements in your previous life?

author says:

Jadedink, I merged as often as possible esp with the pine needles, but tried to keep all the flowers and leaves on individual layers so that I could manipulate and change their positions, I probably had 100 layers when I finally merged layers for the filters. I know that my Adobe program kept shutting down. I guess it was complaining about all the layers it had to process !!!!!

author says:

Pearlie,
Yes, I've done my share of flower arranging! Don't know about my former life, though! lol

avatar EmiK

Used one of my London pics for this image... (5 years and 3279 days ago)

Good idea author. The squirrel appears to be going right through the supports of the wheel though.

Also a shame no high resolution not uploaded. GL

avatar pearlie

OMG, someone sent me a series of shots of this London Eye - it's incredible! Little squirrel is not so little, and he sure better hold on tight, that thing is HUGE!!! Could use a little shadow under his feet and paws, I'll wait to vote.
Show us hi-res!!!
