Love the way this has been done. Well put together and lovely depth of field. Would have been nice to see it in High Res.

What's up solkee..it feels good when somebody likes what u do...
i put the hi-res for u and everybody who wants to see it that way.
Thanks!!
This is adorable! The only nitpick would be to soften the edge of the boot tongue in front of the meerkat, it is a bit too sharp. Otherwise, very nicely done, good lighting!
Very well done! Good luck
Give the shoe leather in the hole in the toe some thickness. Light sources don't match...The rest is good.

The lighting on the foreground objects is very dim compared to the snow to the right and the shadow the man is casting...
very fun Idea

So sorry... but I just had to make me a little green guy!!! ;) (5 years and 3118 days ago)
I support the necessariness of a little green guy! And this is cute. I confess I don't understand the cross-shaped reflection thing at 9 o'clock on the flying saucer's body. Looking at the backside of the guy is kind of boring, however, but would be more interesting if we could see what he's heading toward--and then think about the Rule of Thirds in constructing the composition.
Don't know that rule, please tell me about it, I would love to hear.
Thank you
Cool little fellow, I like the motion and the perspective of him. Really looks like he's driving home.
Thank you very much
cool looking creature...gl author
Rule of Thirds http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rule_of_thirds
BTW Photoshop CS5 has a Rule-of-Thirds cropping-grid-lines option.
I can't see any problem regarding my composition and that rule?!
But there are also other rules, in my language there is something called the golden ratio in relation to image compositing, I'm not quite sure it has the same name in English. It's about how the eye sees a picture, etc., among other things also that it is not optimal to place something directly in the center but improved slightly above or slightly below.
But as I said, there are also many other rules and not just the one you are writing about.
Besides, rules are made to be broken
Yes they are made to be broken. Good luck Author This little guy is hauling ass, he prolly breaking speed limits too.
Break the rules!
He's cute, love his 'headlights', I also like the blue light coming from the rim of your saucer.
Thank you

Love the oversized tulips and the striped door. This has a really fun feel to it. Well done!
lovely lighting.neat work
add a creature/person sitting on the doorstep to complete the image
Very fun and magical, but the shoe needs to stand out more IMO to be the focal point as required by this contest.
Oh, perfect abode for a fairy tail creatures
