blaine2nd: "How many dogs howling at the moon will we see?"
Decided to try the other way around :) (5 years and 2858 days ago)
You know you totally missed the contest theme right? Was this picture meant for another contest?
This is a picture that I took of the IDS building in Minneapolis, Minnesota during the day time. I transformed it to a night scene. (5 years and 3718 days ago)

Not really. The theme was about going from day to night. I took the picture in the day and turned it into a night time picture with fog. What is wrong with that?
wow it looks a little scarry good photoshoping though
Joeshaw was wrong, entry is on theme. I like the dynamic look of it, but that's not enough. It could use improvement.. for starters blur the edges, maybe eve use a gradient to make the top of the tower dissapear into the night. There's also a black rectangle in the bottom middle-which i don't get. Anyway keep it up.
it works for me too, but I agree with dulling the edges down a little and losing the top of the building into the mist...well done all the same.......
Oh, a bit scary, only a Helloween bat is missing!
Amazing!

This is a good study in proportioning. I'm kind liking it.
The light source is from the right, so the Earth should be flipped accordingly.
I know the Earth looks way too big and the craters way too small but it was not meant to be realistic. More of a, Dog in a space suit standing in front of a wallpaper, thing. But as CMYK46 mentioned, I messed up the lighting and positioning a bit
Thank you for the comments! I'll try and fix it ASAP
if we can see the curvature of the moon then we should see the same shadow on the earth (easy fix)
good luck
