Interesting and attractive idea, but embossed deerskin is probably a more contemporary concept than the Wild West. Is the text original to you? It starts with double close quotes which I assume are supposed to be double open quotes, but then there should be double close quotes at the end of the quotation.
Very nice Thompson piece! I would have thrown in a desert background, but that's just me!
I hear ya...but he was psychedelic in lots more places than the desert, so I chose a more generic all purpose weirdness for the background.
When I saw this contest, I thought of him immediately. I think you did a great job here. I love how you incorporated the letter writing style into this. This is an instant fav from me.
Good Luck)
Hmmmmm..I think I've seen this guy ....Wasn't he famous baseball player or something???
Derdevil, yup. He played seventh base for the Aspen Acidheads.
" This is not a good town for psychedelic drugs. Extremely menacing vibration are all around us!!!"
WOW author...fantastic thinking...Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is the master piece...well done man
Ernie, you are indeed.
And suddenly, I learned so much about you author. Just your choice of shrine. I really would never have guessed.
I guess suicide is something to idolize... such a positive human.... though I really don't get how you could worship someone with a gun under his pillow so he always had a way to give up
“Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.†~ Phil Donahue
or the cowards way out
(you really need to work on your text manipulations.. they are just.. well.. they need LOTs of work.. maybe if you checked out some tutorials..you know.. Like Layout and Design 101? Even a local tiny village Newspaper wouldn't use this type of work (just being honest))
I never intended to idolize suicide, but I'd be willing to make an exception in your case.
so kind.. much kinder then requesting someone to have another stroke..so much more your style.. or lack there of
Ernie, I know you've been told this before, but you just don't listen: the comments section is for feedback on the work on the image in question. It's not the place for your petty little personal attacks.
Howdie stranger!
