The wings need a lot of work.
(Actually right now there's only one wing...).
Compare it to the original image of the model.
Author, are you really content to just leave it that way?
If you give me a suggestion on how to improve them, then i won't.
LOL...improve the image...add another wing! (It's a pretty sucky source, at least as far as the single wing goes).
Lovely mood. I'm not sure about the teensy leaves -- or are those just giant mushrooms with a near-human-size fairy? The single-wing-fairy source is kind of weird. (The dorsal fin of a shark comes to mind.) Butterflies certainly rest with their two wings together, but those wings aren't lacy as here so we can't know if they perfectly align as they apparently do here. In any event, it is customary to expect a fairy to have a pair of wings. One option would be to make a copy of the wing and position it behind and to the right of and slightly lower than the current wing as if it were attached to her far shoulder blade. Some brightness or hue adjustments might be necessary to make the two wings distinct from each other. Another option would be to replace the wing with a set of wings from a new source.
you are so good ,but the winges need some work
good luck
very sweet, fata incantata the title what does it means?
good luck!
Alright then.. added a second wing.
Dan: I like the presence of the leaves in the image, even if it may conflict with the size that people might imagine when thinking of fairies. If i do get more negative comments on the leaves i'll remove them.
Nanaris: I really couldn't think of an apt title so i just went for "Enchanted Fairy" in italian
Thanks again!
I like the effects on the image, the glow of it is very welcoming.
VERY NICELY DONE! Tones,shading... all looks really serene.
Fantastic blending, well done author.
Just a comment on the wings. As if you haven't heard enough. The original source actually has two wings it is just that at the angle she is sitting you cannot see the 2nd wing. This happens sometimes ... I have hundreds of photo's of birds with (what appears) only 1 wing!
I did not see it before you added the second wing (wish I had, it would be nice to compare) but just thought a little support in that area might be appreciated.
I think, sometimes, especially with magical images, there has to be some artistic license. Not that I am faulting the critiques (they are all well thought out and presented) but it is nice just to sit back and enjoy an image as it stands; try to appreciate it and visualize it as the artist did when creating the piece. It is nice to let go of the rules and fly ... sometimes!
nice piece...gl
