This is a very nice use of the source, sweet image. Could use some improvement on removing the background from the tree leaves, tho - here are several tutorials, in fact I've bookmarked it also, at the end of the first one are other examples: http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/photoshop/l/blrbps_1jet.htm .
very nice piece author...good luck

its a darker emotion than i expect...and the brighteness surrounding the girl is really ethereal. i like the feeling, even though its a heavy weight, you've effectively moved the viewer.
good luck.
The lighting is a bit too inconsistent, expecially the ground near the girl's feet. With such a bright light shining on her, she would not be standing in a pool of shadow...
The horizon is very smoothly blended with the sky, although the topmost clouds look a bit "swishy," rather than cloud-like.
This image has a dark mood the the innocent curiousity of the girl really draws your attention. Great work author.GL
Very deep, you sure created a work of are that got a lot of buzz, nice job!
glad she can't reach,...great rendition!

Model is my 3yo daughter, whilst playing dress up. (5 years and 3549 days ago)
It s one great job !!! Congratulations,,,,, but I think it is not completely agree with the contest.... see:
" Another requirement is that your subject in the final image needs to be partly in the water "
Thanks for your comment dyno, but as you can see the pillow, grapes and flower are all in the water. I would hope that counts as my subject matter but I guess I`ll raise the question since you`ve pointed it out.
Great job ! Amazing reflection
Nice reflection, but the perfectly straight waterline looks fake. Having the water level come up to her arm would allow you to draw a 3D waterline while also resolving the "partly in the water" issue clearly in your favor.
cute kid, nice results, not sure if you had used an authorized filter though.
Thanks guys, I could see the guides for this one are strict & maybe unclear, so I flagged the entry earlier and the mods wrote:

Yes, your entry is within the guidelines of the theme.
very nice work author...best of luck
That must be one soggy pillow.
I was wondering if anyone else would think that the pillow would - in the real world - be showing some water and or water stains. If you can accomplish that, would be more realistic. Very sweet little girl you've got there, author.
beautiful work ...............
Such a sweet little girl. Nicely done, best of Luck!!
Oh, author, she's so cute... a princess! You just could made a darker line on the pillow, as if it was absorbing water... try it next opportunity! GL, my friend...
amazing result, so cute!

Great job here!! Good luck, author!
Very well done!!
nice job with the shadows and the gluteous maximus
A very nice entry which was imaginative and well executed. Personally I thought it was much better than where it finished.
