Using all kinds of techniques, filters external sources (of which are stated) and effetcs... i have created a scene of an inncent invasion... giving it an older effect... please enjoy (5 years and 3154 days ago)
in the high res author.. you may want to go over just the edge of the BJORK ANDROID with a very soft blur brush..(maybe only in that vacant area under the foreground arm pit.. or just add a simple gradient pad behind it.. the space is a bit confusing.. yes I can see through it.. but I think there should be some substance there holding the spine together..
It's a super duper fun image.. I LOVE IT... and all my suggestions are just IMHO.. I have no idea where your vision was going.. and I love it for that
(I adore anything that reflects "All is Full of Love"
cool, has a War of the Worlds feel to it.
Nice imagination author...best of luck

cooool. Especially love the water displacement.
Well done, author.
Too dark at the top and the LH corner.
well done
Very nice!
Ahhh this is so cool...best of luck author...gl
Thank you guys for the positive and negative comments, just what i need to explore further..
This is a nice image. I am giving it a good vote. However, an SBS always helps in that area and would probably bump it up a few more points for me.
In photoshop the SBS is mandatory I thought, just heads up for the next contest. I would like to know where the source was used here since it's not obvious.
@ Emik sbs is only enforced if no external sources are used

outside source are cracked earth for planets and starry sky
for the planets I used this tutorial: http://www.tip-kit.com/tips/view/42 (5 years and 3237 days ago)
Great concept.
A bit too purple overall, and the bottom planet needs to be better illuminated to match the lighting on top of the "ships," since they are not angled downwards to show such a well lit top surface.
thank you, tried to put more light on the planet. Also darkend the surface of the ship slightly. I hope it matches better, now. I know about the purple, but on their test ride they found this whole new galaxy, it's the purple quadrant.
Oh wow.. very clever use of source! And an excellent space scene too Good luck.
Nice job! I like the shadow being casted on the lower ship from the upper one.
very nice editing
you planets are way too black!! you need a gardient mask!
U did really good job here author...IMHO maybe u could create some variations of the space ships to avoid pure repetition...Whole concept is very nice and purple feel is great IMO...best of luck
Very nice idea and concept. I'm not sure about the purple lines around the planets tho.
thank you alll for your nice comments!
@ Akassa: I did that on purpose, it's supposed to be atmosphere.
