The front edge of the mattresses would be in shadow, otherwise nice job...
Thanks I have shadow on top on wall and sadow on floor plus leg post and bottom of bars hope I got right
You still need to add shadow to the front plane of the mattresses...the tops would be lighter, the fronts darker...
thanks CMYK46 I hope this is what you ment
This was a good idea. I laughed. Maybe a little more shadowing or burning on the lock though.
Thanks I changed it a little hope it works
The lock and beds still look 2-dimentional

wow.. just WOW..
Ah yes, the obsolete "skinny legs 409" model...
robot with sidelong eyes... good idea!
thanks, this is the fruit of deciding to take more time on my art overall. Any suggestions?
Author.. it's hard to offer suggestions in fantasy unless there is a clear goal.. any suggestions from an out side source would make the piece no longer yours.. now if there was a problem with shading or realism or reflection or design un balance we would love to offer help.. at this point.. what you want to do with the piece is up to you.. this way the piece remains yours
thanks for the comment, i see what you mean, and agree, but i still want to know what other people think. =)
Good!
Author.. I think a lot of things...like why is he locked up, does he have a girlfriend, do things go bump in the night.. the best part is that you created something that makes peeps think.. instead of asking for suggestions.. which implies FIXING, you should have Said, would love a REVIEW ETC.. hehehe.. that being said.. this picture give me a feeling of foreboding and isolation.. but just enough light to give hope...HOW'S THAT ?.. hehehe.. good luck Author..and that's the only ego bisquit you're getting from me LOL
thanks golem, lol, thanks for the REVIEW, haha, =)
Pretty cool entry. I like the robot's shape: huge body with minimum legs. Maybe with such strong light from the left shoulder I expect some highlights on the iron in front (just a bit on the sides). Good luck!
good
okay, thanks for the comment, I'll see what i can do
on seccond thought, i like it better this way, i feel that the single light adds a feeling of isolation, singling him out, or w/e =)
nice
congrats
Congratulations for 3rd
Congrats!
Congrats! Way to go! Great entry!

There are lots of bricks pattern out there. Search on imageafter.com for example - cause now it looks a bit fake.
Also give depht to the window, so that it won t look like paper.
Here's an awesome tutorial about making a stone wall - use it to make your bricks real, before time runs out. http://www.lunacore.com/photoshop/tutorials/tut028.htm
Best of luck!
Nice idea, but the bars are to far from each other, so this little fella can go out when ever he want...
nice idea but i think that instead of red bricks it should have been white blocks... like real jails becuase the red bricks to me kind of represent stereotypical school house!! haha but the idea is great . good job
