haha, I blended exactly the same guy with a meerkat , just with different pose, seems like the meerkat is very suitable with this costume, and he looks artistic, too . I think you need to work more on his shadow, let see the light circle around him, the borderline is not that sharp, so his shadow should be blurred more, and a bit crop on top of the image will make the light comes continuously to him, now it looks like coming from somewhere in the air. Yeah.. it's a bit symmetrical. But not that much of a problem. I would lose the hair below its eyes and show some ears to make it appear a bit more realistic. Very nice idea and indeed a dramatic effect..

This is clever. The ONLY suggestion I would make is make the (sorry I have no idea what kind of animal this is) the same shade as the rest but that's more opinion.

He is a bit lighter than the other little guys (meerkat's btw Josh), and the masking around his head is a little blurry too. There is a good tutorial around here - puss in boots if I remember correctly, about how to recreate the fur - or you could stick a hat on him ;p
