It's remind me of Picasso... Please, post a hi-res image!
SBS asap My computer has been DOWN all week. Thanks to Leamington Malfoof at flickr.com for the background landscape, and the African Instruments; and also to elmada at flickr for the horn type instrument photo source. (5 years and 2828 days ago)

the typical traditional peasant girls, the inspiration of the Matryoshka dolls. (5 years and 2831 days ago)
Sorry, author, but... where's the original source you were supposed to manipulate? In other words, the matryoshkas photo?
Thanks for the reminder, I have included dolls in the dishes to please the purists. but it is obvious that the girls are in the clothes of the dolls, and the same positions as the original photo. This is a "conceptual manipulation" in artistic point of view. the dolls are manipulations of the image of the girls themselves, I did a deconstruction of representation.

Apparently some people may not be familiar with the game of Candy Land, which i have chosen for my image. My main focal point are the two game pieces in the center fore ground. Not to mention the lollipop forest looming in the distance and the iconic rainbow road the game pieces move upon.
If you are unfamiliar with the game please visit the link below to see the actual game, then you will see what i have attempted to create. Thank you for your time!

The clouds were created using brushes. I am not sure of the exact brush pack as i have been collecting and compiling all of my cloud brushes into one large set, also about 12 different cloud bushes were used to create the desired effect.

looks cool
Very sweet!!
Never played it but I knew it was a game interesting one you choose yummie
I like this image, author! This image is actually far prettier and imaginative than what the makers of CandyLand have revamped. In the 60s, the game had beautiful illustrations and color with imaginative settings. They have dummied it down since and it looks awful to me. Even changed some of the cool candy location names on the board itself. Very disappointing. Anyway, your vision is beautiful and well done.
Nice work...my blood sugar went up just looking at this!
Thank you all for your kind words!
@pixelkid... Yeah I had a great version as a kid, and I designed the game pieces after the 60's version of the game!
Nice interpretation of the original game, author. Just curious, tho, you mention that you made the sign, but don't show making the actual game's name. It looks like the original, is there a source link for that or permission to use it?

This isn't a religious image, it's just that when I saw this contest the first thought that crossed my mind was "I wish I could eat those right NOW, need to get my hands on it" and "candy land", so this was the end result.
ps: pardon my English, it's not my native language. (5 years and 2901 days ago)
if you look at the guys arm then you can see a cut out line accross the image, inbetween the fingers is a little left over dirt too. easy to erase and it cleans up your work a lot the idea of your work is good . You have to add the links to your sources in the right place for it.
If you go to the tab above that reads "my stuff" then you can go to "my contest entries" there you will see your entry appear and you can edit your entry. there are apointed places where you should put the source link. this link needs to be a link to the image where the author and possible the info on usage. No problem with your english, but i dont speak portuguese. If you speak spanish then perhaps ask mqtrf to translate some stuff for you. Here is his profile, hes a moderator on this site so a trustworthy source. http://www.pxleyes.com/profile/mqtrf/
Edit: I've corrected the image sources problem, sorry for the mix up

I like the stark landscape with some odd elements and an enigmatic title. (I wish there were an SBS [especially with the use of brushes], but I really appreciate that your source list at least identifies all the separate elements you chopped together because I'm too lazy to check out each source.) I do find this 'flatish' with just a foreground and a background with nothing in between. The nearly-centered foreground elements reduce the drama IMO.
This ones very appealing to me.
Thanks a lot
Congrats for your second place, Divair!
Congrats!!
Thank you very much people. Sorry, I've been away for some time, and I'm afraid I'll be away for a couple of weeks... Businesses, you know
