And there are several mistakes in your work... The shadow shows the wrong side of that hammer, it should be blurred too, the hammer looks like it's hitting the edge of those plates and again, before-time hammers should be blurred (motion blur)

I have some suggestions: (1) the clouds seem so noisy, maybe adding more grain on the dragon will normalize that. (2) the chains near the clouds were distorted too much, they looked flat. (3) the chain under the neck should be darker. These are all I can find. The other things are the same as the previous comments. Love your idea

this is beautiful work, I like that you drew some parts. no legs - I suppose the samurai is kneeling? love the colors and composition with the cherry tree, very asian.

Thank you for commenting on my entry . Pearlie, I like the braveness and heroism of samurai. I saw some movies with the image of samurais died in battle, some of them keep kneeing until the last breath. In this work I want to re-create this beautiful gesture of this heroism.

, maybe it's strange, right? I did that because what inside the armor is the skeleton, the samurai died. He was kneeing by the time he died, so the skeleton keeps this gesture. Without the flesh, the skeleton is not as thick as the normal body. Maybe that's not only you are confusing

its cool.. very well use of source.. but y the fore legs are crossed? was it deliberate or it happened..? I see in the source image that the horse is running but in your entry its still and that's y the legs are distracting.. or you can lift that leg a bit up like in this pic.. http://www.flickr.com/photos/mmmchoco/63394549/ then it'll be perfect..

just use warp and lift it backwards..

Looks quite nice! The horse is a little distorted (neck too short, butt a little big maybe) edges could use a little clean up. Of course that's MHO.

I forgot to add the shadowing of the leg, before I merged the horse together >< I'll see if I can't redo the horse, it took me a little while so I'll try to get it as best as I can before the contest ends. Thanks for all your nice comments
