erm.. interesting :P, i don't really understand it, but it looks nice. Good luck!
i like the art look of the image and the leaf thing i dont exactly get but it adds a cool effect to the image
the media mix is quite unique.. you don't see that everyday and that's what I like about it... Like the first time I saw the stop motion animations on seseme street.. good LUCK!!
From the technical point of view this is a very good image. It looks believable. I think it would attract more attention when the elements in the image were more related to each other. e.g. the book title could be 'How to paint leaves'.

Create with Bryce & 3D Max, no extern sources. (5 years and 3773 days ago)
great idea
hahaha i think that it will be like that but with to guards ... idea : put it in a museaum with guards and more
cool odea yes... but you need more work on the image
he looks so lonely
are those standard models or did you build your own?
Thanks for comments. Eladine, step 1-3 show haw i create barbed wire in 3d max, step 4 is the file transphere in Bryce,5-6 is the ground texture, 8 is a short intro in Tree Lab and 9 is about sky colours. For short, no, I didnt use presets. If you want to see more details pls refere to a specific point (wire, ground, tree, sky) and i'll make more detailed steps on this point. For me is allways a delight to show what 3D work is.
thnx, for some reason i didnt see a step by step when i looked at this first maybe because when you click on a image from the panel to the right they dont show there... i have noticed that before o.o; anyhow thnx for pointing out do you import the barbwiremodel into bryce or can you render the bryce scene in 3ds max ? i have never combined them so o.o;
This is a 'Photoshop Contest'. You didn't use Photoshop at all.

Haha, very nice idea, that snail is AWESOME!! I'd blur the shadow a little bit, but other than that it's great!
very good! you could maybe put a square hole somewhere in the ground so we could see where this was taken from
Better flop one of the copters or you're gonna have a nice collision there...
EDIT: Copter flopped, looks better. GL.
Ground is a little bit flat, and the size differences seem to be an issue. Other then that I really like the idea. It reminds me of my entry
