Hilarious entry, but I can't make out the photo on the far wall, and the SBS gives no info. Is it Goldilocks, or another bear, or ???
Thanks to the following at flickr.com: Jason Pratt (Tree background);cgtextures (grass for rug); aptmetaphor (sitting bear; News Fedora (twig table and chair); Eraphernalia Vintage (bowl); and (walking bear);sentrawoods (chandelier);and at pxleyes.com, gotmeamuse (stairway) (5 years and 3075 days ago)

I love this! so clever, and wonderful to incorporate the Tree of Life.

good idea -- masking could use some touch up around the hair, and the top of the dress -- the black seems a bit over powering and is not allowing any of the underlying texture to show as it does on the rest of the colours -- different blend mode or adjust the fill and or opacity may help.

first i removed the color info with the gradient map nd put it on a separate layer then i masked da layer on da lips nd on da flower on her ear......then i cut her off da background nd put a gradient background of ma own, then i used the dodge tool to remove the spot on her face nd then i used da brush tool nd modify it a lil bit and painted on da left upper corner nd right lower corner nd then finally put da text layer nd i flattened the layer nd copied it, i filtered the lower layer with Gaussian blur nd i change the blend mode of the copy to overlay, nd flatten it again.... then i opened the book that i downloaded nd changed the color info using the hue nd saturation, nd i put the girl pic on the book usin transformation tool distort. done! am ready to move this farther if u have any ideas (5 years and 3099 days ago)

I love to take a walk in the park and look this tree and observe how it changes during the four seasons. Old trees still grow new leafes.
The photo of the tree is my own. (5 years and 3102 days ago)
Very arresting but this does strike me more as using a daytime pic to create a dramatic, fantastic night scene rather than transforming the day scene to a night version.
Hmm. I guess you got a point there. I forgot to view the tutorial after i opened Photoshop. I got stuck in my chair with my eyes focusing only at my conest entry the following hours.
Thank you for commenting Dan
You should blur the moon's edges a little so it doesn't look so sharp.
very cool image author, but with the moon this big and placed there, tree would be covered with the moonlight...GL
