I really like this ... has a very ethereal feel.

It is not that big a problem but just a thought ... you could offset the fungus so it wasn't quite so centered. It would give the image a little tension ... you can check out the info on the Rule of Thirds here ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rule_of_thirds ... hope that helps.

I do agree with arca, there is a lovely ethereal quality to this. A good tip as well regarding the rule of thirds, in fact the source image of the forest is a good example of this rule. The rhythm established by the trees helps break up the symmetry as does the glow in the sky but you could try as arca suggests. Nice work and GL!

BTW the credits for the authors don't match up. They should read 1. demma, 2.deSpool and 3. avanzero. These authors don't require credit but it's always polite to thank them anyway.

Although it is a very simple approach it can be effective, but then it has to be perfect in execution. I would suggest you get rid of the white that is still there in the flowers.
