Two images were clubed part by part. Both of them were a bit posterized.Image on the right side was photo filtered with a variety of orange colour.Mainly brush tool was used to paint.Pen tool was used to select the vase.A little blur effect was given.
Sorry guyz nothing from source 2 was used. (5 years and 3448 days ago)
the idea is quite nice...
good work...
Please post your valuable comments.
I think the blending of the two images needs attention where they meet in the middle. Lovely idea thought!
It's a nice idea, but I suppose source 2 is not valid (from blogs).
Source 2 is from blog. Please read http://www.pxleyes.com/blog/2009/06/how-and-where-to-find-legal-source-images/
I think you need to pay more attention to the size of the faces, it would be more effective if they line up well and look like the same person aged and un-aged.
thanq for ol da comments...
@raytedwell:-I thot tht when one gets old their face shrinks

Inspiration of this image came from this quote:
"Life comes with no guarantees, no time outs, no second chances. You just have to live life to the fullest. Laugh as much as you can, spend all your money, tell someone what they mean to you. Tell someone off, speak out, dance in the pouring rain. Hold someones hand, comfort a friend, fall asleep watching the sun come up, stay up late. Be a flirt, smile until your face hurts, don't be afraid to take chances or fall in love, and most of all live in the moment cause when you look back one day knowing you have no regrets, its going to be what makes you smile."

Much clearer in High Resolution. (5 years and 3450 days ago)
Great and deep image! One suggestion of mine is removing the line crossing the skull and covering the screws, they take off a bit of the realism.
Superb image. One suggestion - A thin white outline is still visible on the rose in high res. I would suggest removing it using the Select>Modify>Contract at 1 px. GL !
Would be awesome, if you could make your skelly look a bit more 'realistic' .. worn her bones up a little and especially make her skull look a bit more realistic. Lose the straight cut line and make some real cracks to it, etc. Very good idea - and a good aphorism too.
Really nice scene... excellent work. The line separating the skull is a bit distracting in my opinion, but other than that this has a very nice feel to it. Great masking too! Well done

This picture has a thought behind it.
_______________________
Techniques used:
Warping (puppet warp for the rose [cs5 only]), Gradient maps (brown-yellowish), a lot of colour adjustments. The shine from the window is made with a radial- and motion blur. The walls are set to soft light with a lowered opactiy, masked to they blend together, free transfomed to give it depth and make it look realistic.
But as always I cant remember all the things I've done when I'm finished with my work. (5 years and 3455 days ago)

Really beautiful... It doesn't seem parts of a whip!
lovely.... high votes from me author...
the branches look a little cartoonish right now. you could try overlaying a tree texture on the branches to make it look more realistic. though, the mood is nice
this is really wonderful nicely done author
I love the look and feel of this image. It is so dreamy. Definitely a work of art.
