I have never really been a fan of still life..I don't shoot such things, but I thought I would have a go at 'constructing' one........

Blend is not that great but a nice work....
cool...
Well done with the trees, but more depth could be created with the burn tool too, maybe also think about adding some fog or haze in the background. Good luck.
awesome!!! very well and nicely done!

If you allow the blades of grass and flowers to fall over the edge it will help this...great idea and nice image. In other words...the grass is too perfect an edge on either side inside the room.
Try using the smudge tool with a 2px, and drag the edges of the grass out...so it looks more natural GL

Funny . The sunbathing gulls look a bit dead now, is it an idea to put their head a bit more down just as you would have it if your backhead is leaning against a matras (I mean that the chin would be on the body)? Perhaps then the look more relaxed. Good luck!
Thanks wazowski . You seem to know a lot about sunbathing seagulls. I wont argue with you
lol...hehehehe!
now THAT is one cool seagull
Cool and funny.....Beautiful work...
nice idea and work!

Nice shadows, nice construction... There is a black outline around the flowers, but other than that, this is a very nice image. Good luck!
Edit: Author, it's your image, and it's great, you don;t have to change a thing
Pretty combination of colors, but when flowers are 'flipped', shadows should be changed.
>artgirl.thanx......forgot all about that bit, I have made some changes now. > Ponti......yes, I see th edark lines, but when I was looking at the pic in cs, it looked like they might pass as light / shadows from the lighting above..
wow
overall nice image, the flowers in front of the vase throw it off a little bit, maybe show more stem or more of the top of the vase? it just kind looks like it's jumping out..other than that nice image
Wow...Lovely.....superb...
Great image!!! nicely done!
Very nice, great representation of your idea.
this is a lovely image
Maybe not the most original use of source...but very nicely done! And some sort of a conflict in shadows...the vase is throwing a shadow behind while the flower and the ring box have a shadow in front. Also the shadow of the vase is less defined than the rest, it almost looks like just some dark spots! Best of luck!
> nellista...the position of the shadow would depend upon where I intended the light to be coming from.........however, I do agree with you about the density of some of the shadows. My intention was that the shadows from the buds would not be to heavy, so as not to take over the shot. I deliberately made the stem shadow a little heavier, to give some impression of the shape of the stem itself. As for originality........it is original to me, as I have never done anything like this before. Thank you for your input...;
>Nator....strangely, I considered this option, but when I looked at it, it looked bare and lacking..........hence the stemmed bud and the ring.
Very cool work, almost looks like a picture.
