The shadows on the clothes aren't consistent with the light source.
@Blaine: Nope, they're not...find me a source with no shadows.
Make a source with no shaddows! Grab a camera, go outside in the sun and snap away. Sources don't have to come from the internet. Use your own. It's more satisfying that way, anway.
Outside in the sun? You mean the sun that makes SHADOWS? Sheesh...
sheesh hey author ;p
i like it but i'm agree with (blaine2nd )
Yeah, the sun makes shaddows if your back is to it. Try at one or two facing west. Your subject doesn't have a head so you don't have to worry about squinting. Or use flood lights. My point is only that these contests are more satisfying (to me, anyway) when you use your own sources.
I can easily forgive the jean's shadows for this terrifically good idea. For me it screams some catchy poster slogan, good work author..
Ummm...Downoffthedragon, I looked at your portfolio and I didn't see you using any of your own sources in your entries. Funny, eh?
Actually, I do use my own sources. Not everytime. I never said that I did. All I'm saying is that if you can't find the source that you want, make it. I didn't say it to start a fight! it was just a suggestion, crazy!
I really didn't have a problem with the shadows on your source in the first place! Sheesh!
And I have 3 photoshop entries that feature me, my daughter and my fiance. The livingroom in my 3D entry is my livingroom. ALL of the textures are photographs of my actual furniture, the floor, the carpet and the walls of my livingroom. You can look at my reference photo of my living room and see that.
I just voted, and I was very surprised to see it was you! You're usually more confident in your work, it seems to be worried about what I say!! I didn't say it before, but I really like the image.
The first thing I thought when I saw this image was: what a cool ! Very nice, author!
Howdie stranger!
