It's looking good but you could have used the source more. You already have concrete in the foreground of the source; the cabins could be transformed into wagons, stuff like that. Good work anyways.

Too dark, the sides are almost impossible to distinguish.

I can see all the details on the sides.
Mossy IT'S YOUR SCREEN!!!
I'm 100% sure that it's either your screen or your eyes, I'm sorry. Please change & check these.

Just another perspective - created by lundmikkel

Just another perspective
Favs: 4SBS: 4Hi-resRank: 1/7Score: 65% (36)17287 views

I thought I would look at the contest from another perspective than the rest of the contestants. So I just changed the whole thing.

Everything is done within Photoshop. To 3D program used, to vector or anything like that.

Unfortunately I didn't have the time to add the lighthouse light at the top - another time :)

Hope you like it, it's my first entry since the site change name from PST... (5 years and 3480 days ago)

A bit too much blur, but everything else is great!
PS: Good to see you're back, author!

avatar Alan2641
Alan2641 says:

Nice idea well done

-- PS welcome back wondered where you were hiding (LOL)

author says:

Yeah, I had my doubts about the blur. That's why I added the last step in SBS to show the details missing. But the high res wasn't made for full size viewing.

avatar ponti55
ponti55 says:

Looks like incredibly tedious work, author.. but an excellent idea and very well executed.

avatar erikuri
erikuri says:

That's a different point of view!...
And let's consider blur as a soft focus, or DOF... I like both versions!

author says:

@Erikuri:
It was supposed to be DOF...

And I meant:
No 3D program, vector or anything like that was used...

very funny picture, but there are some minor flaws. hands look copy-psated, helmet (or how's that thing called) looks flat, shadows are a bit too dark, and the perspective of that black fitting (where the straw goes inside the helmet) is wrong.

line horse

what I saw looking at the source were lots of lines and this is how the line horse was born. after countless layers and lots of time I think the result is simple but also complicated like the horse I wish to have one day (this time a real one) (5 years and 3771 days ago)

Pretty nice result. Just dont get well why you added some shading on the white parts inbetween the colored lines. As far as I understand those white parts is just background, right? So it should be just plain white or whatever color the background has. Good luck!

(Things stick in my brain.. I usually can't get them out.. they stay there and I store them, this film came rushing back in a flood when I saw the plains in your piece, and couldn't get it out of my head)
