Try to alter the symmetry of the hair. Highlights above the lips and shadows below would help, too...right now it's floating in front of the face.

Interesting idea, but the lighting on Joe is inconsistent with the welder, especially where the art welder is next to her face.
A welding midget!
(Fill in the missing sparks).
Thanks
i agree with both mossy and cmyk. also, it seems that joe's head melts into the welder. there should be some shadowing or something.
Nice work author! best of luck!
Thanks for your comments and suggestions.. I could not make any changes of what you all suggested. and @ JoeCacia.. at last you commented.. Thanks for that..

This is a good friend of mine I did a photo shoot for several years back. hope you like it...her :) (5 years and 3053 days ago)
This is beautiful! Exquisite color match to the earrings.
There is the tinist diagonal dark shadow on the side of the nose, and another that is shaped like a small half circle at the inside corner of the eye. I'd lighten those ever so slightly...
thanks, I see what you are saying about the nose, I'll certainly fix that, but I'm not sure what part of the eye you are talking about...the inside corner?
Yes, just above the inside corner and the eyelid crease. It's barely noticeable, but I have hyper color sensitivity, so I see it really well...
really good work, well done
why thank you!

Happy Valentine's day, all! (5 years and 3234 days ago)
anybody want to kiss me, ?
Have you had all your shots dekwid?
(hehehe, great job author.. good luck)
Nice idea. Blurring the edges of the lips a bit would make this more realistic. GL author.
Thank you, CMYK, I couldn't put my finger on what was bothering me, but you did, the edges of the lips were too hard and "sharp."
hahahahaha...cool idea and nice work...this is how the people would look after kissing the hornet....
looking at her swollen lips and face she looks kinda going thru the 247th 1. Thanks for the valentine wishes. Looking at the source this is good work.
I understand what you were going for, but I would've went a different way. I would've left the water background and instead of using the liquify tool. Just copy the lips to a new layer and then just resize them proportionately. If you make them big enough she would look part fish. Regardless nice entry and good luck!
What fun ... she is truly Ready to be Kissed!
no...no...no.. I think nobody want to kiss her because it just goes like the idiom saying : she has a 'BIG MOUTH..!

Nice one...GL author!
love this interesting image!!..
Thanks for commenting!
Yep...this is really cool. Love the style and image overall. My only suggestion to you is that you perhaps change the top lips a bit in shape and brightness. Perhaps darken the top lips since they are further away. Maybe blur them more to create depth of field. Maybe you could distort/warp them slightly to look less like the same lips copied and pasted. Ya know? These are just suggestions to possibly create depth and improve. I really like what you've done, author! Really nice work.
EDIT: Lookin' great!
Congrats Friend!!
