THE BEATLES lyrics - Eleanor Rigby
(Lennon/McCartney)
Ah, look at all the lonely people
Ah, look at all the lonely people
Eleanor Rigby picks up the rice in the church where a wedding has been
Lives in a dream
Waits at the window, wearing the face that she keeps in a jar by the door
Who is it for?
All the lonely people
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people
Where do they all belong?
Father McKenzie writing the words of a sermon that no one will hear
No one comes near
Look at him working, darning his socks in the night when there's nobody there
What does he care?
All the lonely people
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people
Where do they all belong?
Ah, look at all the lonely people
Ah, look at all the lonely people
Eleanor Rigby died in the church and was buried along with her name
Nobody came
Father McKenzie wiping the dirt from his hands as he walks from the grave
No one was saved
All the lonely people (Ah, look at all the lonely people)
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people (Ah, look at all the lonely people)
Where do they all belong?

Very nice work here, touching.
Nice atmospheric image, I don’t think the shadow is quite right, I’m no lighting expert but from my thinking the shadow should be out in front and at 45 degrees to the old lady smaller at the feet and tapering away.
not bad, not bad at all
That means we live longer than men, we bear the hard times much more than men... We are NOT the fragile sex! Women are strong indeed... Which man would bear the pain of a delivery???
Very delicate entry, author!
Great work on the lighting

I know its very simple but i like it this way ;)

Simple isn't necessarily a bad thing. There's quite a bit of residual image in the silhouette, try the magic wand to select the white and then go to selection and choose similar to remove most of the white. ( you may have to adjust the strength of the wand and also need to touch up the tree trunk but that won't be difficult.) The rock base is too soft, try to make it look like it's in there with the grass. That foreground "ridge" looks odd but maybe that's what you wanted.
with grass like this maybe u should try with some other (darker) sky...best of luck
simple and simply the best!
The grass blades are very small, and the base of the tree is very soft, the edges should be a lot harder where the tree meets the grass, i also think that the horizon is too sharp and too linear. Good luck!
Good picture! Work on your masking techniques.

This image was created using stock images and the provided image, as well as the moon created through shading, transparencies, and layer styles.
The sky is a gradient layer.
I hope everyone just appreciates it for what it is.. (5 years and 3564 days ago)
Looks good...would be better with a horizon line & a bit of delineation between sky & water. Good luck.
should give more dodge on moon, gl!
isnpires tranquility...beautiful

Very nice atmosphere and very good composition! The bird's shadow could do with a little more tweaking, maybe fade it slightly with a layer mask as the shadow progresses. But it's a very good first entry, and welcome to the site
Edit: Also, if you use your own photos, you need to show the unedited form in your step by step guide. Add a guide by going to My Stuff -> My Contest Entries and adding a guide
Good luck
Thanks Ponti for your comments and suggestions.
About the step by step part i ll surely do that
Cheers!
PS yes i realized after uploading that i did go wrong with the shadow.a bit impatient as i am.
