Fantastic idea, and that background looks GREAT! One thing i will say - at the bottom of the trunk, i think it's too dark, it doesn;t seem like the tree is actually going into the block of soil. Try to work on that. Good luck!
great!!
Thanks for the suggestions ponti55. I improved the bottom of the trunk, I hope now be better.
Yeah, much better! Good luck author!

wow good work
nice, very original and nice mood
Hmm how should i do that Nator? I already placed a shadow on the back, and light on the front >.>
Simple but nice work. Only a suggestion: Make the planet texture look more real! You can separate the shadows from lights and play with to give a more vibrant look.
cool
Intensified the planet shadows, thanks
very good
Great take on the image, very well done. Good luck!
Good work

He wandered away from his group...
Thanks to Shtrumf from Deviant art for her wonderful underwater image. She's been notified as that was the author's request. (5 years and 3874 days ago)
this would look much better if you used a water splash (like surface and underwater) used that to separate the mountains with a coral shot underwater (real simple, desaturate the splash layer and set to screen... it eleminates all the black, you dont want black to show with water effects.) hope that helps. mask out the mountains and the coral shot so that they meet at the line where the splash is. real simple.
bddesign, it sounds like a good idea, but i don't understand what you mean! Sorry
Verrrrrrrry interesting
Yeah, it's not my best work, i just thought i should give it a go.
nice image
Haha, thanks :p
what is this
It's a jellyfish
Since when do jellyfish fly? seriously The overall impression is: the image too dark and low in contrast, thus hard to understand. If it wasn't for the name, I would never have guessed that there'se a jellyfish in there somwhere. If u thought of it as of a day scene maybe u could merge all of the existing layers, duplicate the one u get and change the blending mode to screen - and maybe adjust the opasity of that layer. Of maybe try Overlay for a more interesting effect?.. Good luck, athor
EDIT: Pfff that is an underwater image!! I thought this was a surface of a sea But still it is too dark and "blurry", so it makes it hard to figure out what's on the picture

I've concentrated mainly on shadows and lights by working with godge and burn tool. used also the perspective option to adjust the lake's photo. Enjoy!

amazing job, good luck
beautiful
very very nice job you did really splended with the pictures. My suggestion would be that you tone down the reflection quite a bit. Gl
the mood of this graphic is awesome. Very well done. And good luck.
I like your source use, but a little close to the water. Might want to try a displacement map for the reflection because its a little too perfect for rippled water. That being said, I like your efforts.
Great job on the shading!
This is simply elegant. Recommend pulling the reflection a little closer to the waters edge and adding a ripple or displacement (as pingenvy said)
I just love the colors on this one. Great job!
sweet and nice.. the title really doesn't do it justice.. hehehe. but that's just me.. other than that.. KUDOS author
cool blending
Simply Gorgeous. I love it!
lighiting is very nice -- the reflection is very well done
I'm in love with this one one thing, the reflection of the grass looks too dark that i didn't know it was a reflection at 1st. very very good job, good luck
Really Good job with nice composition, color, lighting & reflection...........Good Luck Author.
impressive work lovely looking scene top job
amazingly beautiful
Very nice mood Good lightning
The bench wouldn't have a reflection at that distance from the water. If you think you need to keep it, straighten it out...
Nice result, good use of colors. I agree with CMYK about the reflection from the bench in the water though. Good luck!
very nice image, like the tone
