There's no greater loss than the loss of a true friend...
... And when I say friend, I mean F-R-I-E-N-D, not only an acquaintance, workmate and the likes...

Beautiful and sad. Glad you explained step 6 in SBS. I was wondering about the opacity of the top section of her body and gown versus the bottom. Best of luck to you.
It's beautiful. And I know the feeling.... Today is the first time I experienced it... Wonderful.... ='(
Thank you Wlado! I'm sorry for you, for you also know the emptiness left is greater than words can say or images can show...
beatiful image , but in my opinian it could work better if u go more black on curves in backgroud, to make a bigger contrast with the ligth from above, i also went to this feeling and not only once, nice work and good luck
Thank you for your suggestion Mario Silva Good idea! I hardly ever use curves, but I think levels will do... I'll give a try.

Changed... Really, looks more dramatic now.
I commend you for putting the emotion into the image.
Very emotional, great work
The hopi indian prayer helped me deal with many losses, if you haven't heard it, it goes like this: "Do not stand by my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on the ripened grain. I am the gentle Autum's rain. When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand by my grave and cry. I am not there. I did not die. My spirit is still alive....."
Thank you spygirl! I didn't know about that indian prayer, but it goes with my way of thinking... Really beautiful and true
Howdie stranger!
