Excellent idea, thou the blending to the screen could be locateda bit better. Also the screen perspective is a little off.. but _very good_ idea, I like it..

Hi there, an old user from photoshoptalent -times making a comeback.
A lot of handwork with the colours, shadows, love-stitches, wound etc. I tried to keep a certain painting/poster -like appearance with a hint of realism. Took some liberties with the shadows, as what was right did not look good.

Interesting, but relies too much on pre-made brushes, and the "cuts" on the torso should look three dimensional...
but still very cool looking
i'm loving the creativity!
I love the creativity, but i do agree with CMYK's comment. It's still a nice image. (Next time try using a gradient overlayed onto the cuts in the torso to give the impression of depth instead of just a solid black colour.) But you're still getting high marks from me!
Congratulations Maria

pruning season,not yet! good work!
I saw this tat source and was thinking of doing the same thing but I didn't like the fact that the tattoo pic was an old tattoo. Seems like you pulled it off ok though.
thanks guys. I was also thinking the same thing jawshoewhah that for this competition few members may pick the same sources from flickr. I guess the way you work around an image is what makes it different. Thanks again
Might be better with some of the leaves from the original tattoo, but good work over all...
Thanks CMYK. I thought about it too. I 've tryed to make them a bit brighter and with a warmer color but they were way too blury. The idea was to make them match the color of the added leaves. I 've desided to leave it like this cause it looks more clean. I even fixed the guy's finger nail cause i almost threw up when i saw it. Look at the source
pass the dutchy on the left hand side. nice blend Author
