This is my photo of my son. I used the liquify tool to give the sad expression and painted a teardrop on his cheek. (5 years and 3635 days ago)
Good change! He looks definitely sad. Maybe you could try to make the tear a little less white and a bit more transparent. I think, that could look even better. Good luck!

When I saw this source image i thought of Golem lol... Ive been waiting ot see colourful men jumping across my screen but nothing yet lol.
I know some people might think this would take 10 mins to make, but i am learning and it did take awhile.

Sweet idea I like how you made the trumpet, it looks good! But I'm not sure, if that is just my monitor or not right now: In the left upper corner are some almost invisible light beams. Are they supposed to be there? If yes, I'd suggest to make them brighter, so you can see them better Good luck!

GREAT try author. However, you need to work on the details ALOT more. the mouth and brow areas especially.things that may help you fix your entry: explore facial expressions, using the pen tool to add expression lines to the face and explore the LIQUIFY tool more GL .
