I think the shoes need something. As they sit now, they don't look like they fit in the image. Maybe add some shadow to them and blur them a bit. Good luck author.

Good thinking and nice composition, but it needs some work to look convincing. The left edge of the sketch book looks strange. The small strip of paper should not be visible at all. And the color of the sketch does not match the color of the pencil tip.
