Metropolis was the first ever feature length science fiction movie. It was originally released in 1927. It featured an evil robot created from one of the characters - Maria. As far as a I know there was never a sequel. Probably never will be. (5 years and 2307 days ago)

City street full of life and activity... falls to destruction. Maybe that Mayan prediction for 2012 was correct after all!

I AM LEGEND and hyper zombies are running all over the place and I have a really cute dog

author says:

OK, have looked up 'Legend'... have I done something I didn't realize? Can picture zombies on that street, tho! And I'll take your cute dog.

Ooops! I'm a little anal about spelling and such and deleted my comment instead of correcting it! So, what I said was....nice work! I can hear the wind whistling through the deserted streets. This work brings to mind "I Am Legend" to me as well. Nice work!!

author says:

Thank you, photogirl. Been there, done that! Just click on the pencil icon to edit. I, too, am anal about spelling, etc. Errors jump out at me, but on this site I figure that a lot of folks are from different countries, and I give them a lot of credit for using English to any degree!

Somehow the perspective is weird, looks like the water has got a dent in the middle, think that's an illusion and it is caused by the curved concrete structure at the bottom and the round surface of Pier 17 which seems to pull and push the watersurface down in the middle (still understand what I mean?).

Maybe it's an idea to curve that structure the other way around (with the highest point in the middle), you can do that by warping it. I'm curious how that will influence the image.

Don't get me wrong author, I like what you are doing here and I'm just speaking my mind. Up to you what to do with it and I can be wrong

OOO, maybe got a bigger version for us as high res?
