Really nice work here, although I don't understand the monochromatic part. It seems she is monochromatic instead of the dream. Maybe I just don't understand your concept here, but your work is so well done.

I guess it would have helped to put some insight into the work. In my dreams, I dream in third person most times. The way I know who I am withought seeing my face, is that I am always black and white. There is always some color, but...not always as saturated as I made it here...it just looked better like this. Things like the ribbon are always symbols that retain color even when I take hold of them in my dream. So, where the clothing has no color as it is part of myself as a whole, the ribbon keeps its color because it has significance to the meaning of the dream. Had the ribbon not had an underlying meaning to the dream, it too would have faded in color.
