The transition is well made, and your underwater area looks good, but at the moment the loch ness monster looks more like a cow's udders.
I suggest studying the fins of different animals and trying to replicate them a little more realistically with shading and depth.
I'd also remove the bubble overlay on the underwater part, the water would look better without it. Good luck.
Neck is flat. Add highlights & shading.
A longer tail would reduce the udder feel -- and substantially longer would be Nessier IMO (but maybe I'm just thinking brontosaurus).
Love the look of this! I agree that the tail should be longer, but since it is too late to fix anything, I'll just focus on the final image, and I like it
very cool work author...gl

The bubbles were done with a BUBBLE BRUSH... not from a source image.

Nice entry. Here are my tips:
1.The creature should have a blue-ish overlay in order to look like it's in water, i would even lower the opacity to 90-95.
2. the lower part of the mouth doesn't look 3d (perspective is off). try to add the other layer of teeth behind and something like a tongue between them.
3. The are 2 types of bubbles : soap ones & water ones. You need the second type that looks like this:

You see, they are not round, cause water is heavy and makes them squashed. I think you can fix this from jitter.
Hello greymval, I really apreciate your comments and your tips, this is the way a criticism must be done
I fixed the things you help me to see.
For the bubbles, I used liquify
Thank you!

Nice work. The butt looks a bit flat, and could use a little shadow contouring, but the overall execution is excellent!
thanks
This really needs a least a high res version to see the work done - a SBS would also be nice to see the techniques used to construct the being
SBS?
It's really a shame there's no SBS or Hi-res, this is great. It reminds of a book cover, with a story in from James Herbert, or Dean Koontz. But a great image, thought provoking.
Looks very nice but i would remove the text and also add the high res version.
I too would love to see SBS and in hi res ... it is wonderful at this size though!
thanks

The monster is cute...even though it is evil hehe. I would have done a softer beveling around the mouth, but other than that I don't know what else to say. Lotsa luck!
