Tower is my photo. Please note that PC monitors are usually darker than Macs. This was made on a Mac and may look too dark to you PC folks. Since I have private comments on this entry, I'll quote one I just received: "To all: make sure you're brightness is set well for this contest. Originally I thought this image was too dark, but then realized my monitor is a bit dark. Nice job, author!" (5 years and 3204 days ago)
author... just a suggestion.. if you passed a very soft BLUR brush around the edges.. you'd get rid of the sharpness of the masking... and duplication the trees to make them a bit more solid would be kinda neat to see.. but it is your vision.. and as always.. IMHO... also (sorry) pay close attention to the angle of the disk the statue is standing on.. you may want to distort the disk so it matches the horizon line (use distort and perspective. just isolate the disk and play with it)...
ack.. sorry.. I hate being bossy but I really like the concept you have going here and just want to help
Very nice feel author...u used good techniques to create illusion of the dark, and u made it...best of luck
No sky at night is as "bright" as that". The shadows are too though.
Very good work author...U achieved transformation from day to night in best way...maybe is shadow under the child a bit confusing but that's a big + from me cause that is the game of shadows in the forest by night...best of luck
The mood is set nicely here. Although it's always tricky to do such night shots with everyone's monitors set differently. On my monitor it's kind of dark...but when I brighten the monitor's luminence...it's perfect.
To all: make sure you're brightness is set well for this contest. Originally I thought this image was too dark, but then realized my monitor is a bit dark. Nice job, author!
