I added a vulture on the column and a skull with a hole on its forehead - that means she's not primary!

The figures in the scene need some shadow to ground them in the image. Also try colour matching them with the source image. GL

the people look like cut outs

Too dark, especially the bottom. You could crop an inch of the dark off the bottom of the image and not have it affect your composition at all...

after a bomb- a "memory"

The lighting looks perfect on my end author. Seriously! Don't change a thing! However, an SBS would be nice but it's not required. GL!
