Or I think Overlay would also work. Make a dark shape and change to overlay blending so that the wood floor texture still shows through

you copied and pasted the shadow and you left the lines from the wood in there..clone stamp or the healing brush will fix it

Just a little trouble with the wood grain on the far right - but otherwise it is great. Maybe its worth cropping out the problem for now ? Good luck.
