Here is my ideal place. The snow is strawberry ice-cream and the ice is chocolate. I deleted the sky then used source 1-the Sun tuorial then copied and pasted it behind the landscape layer. I used colour balance on the snow then used the source 2-chocolate tutorial to make a layer style and used it on the ice. (5 years and 3766 days ago)

This is another example of seeing a few tutorials and trying to cram everything in one image. Try concentrating on one theme and spending a little more time to get a realistic look. Keep at it!

There's a blurred area around the "mouth" of the tree and you need to fix the texture of the bark were it was over streched with the luquify filter. But I think the idea is cute and funny!

hehehe.. oh hell in a hand basket.. I'm going to lose all my vote power on this contest... these are all great
ok, if the bottom doesn't show the "bottom" than the top has to. Put a half cirle in either the top or bottom of the glass to give is depth.
k5683: If you look at the cup I modeled from (SBS step 1), You'll see there really wasn't a top or bottom from getting such a close-up shot, however it didn't look right to me either when you pointed it out so I just added a slim shadow to the top, using the same face layer. So changes made.

Bird is too blury for this background.
I'm a big fan of this kind of effect.. It makes the bird look like a flying painting instead of just a green bird... but that's just me...he almost gives of the feeling he's a Kite.. good luck!
