Moirai - created by anatole

There are storys about three goddesses of destiny throught different cultures. The Greeks called them Moirai, the Romans called them Parces and in Nordic folclore they were called the Norns. Of cause some details differentiate in each version, but what they do and what they are there for remains consistant. For my contribution I found myself inspired by the greek Moirai: The first one, Clotho, creates destny by spinning the thread of life from her Distaff. Lachesis is measuring each person live-thread with her measuring rod and decides about their fortune. Finally, the unavoidable Athropos cuts the thread and thereby ends the life. Also she chooses the manner of death each person expects. I decided that this three spooky ladys should have different ages, since they represent some specific part of life.

Nice image overall, a few areas that stand out to me are the talons in the ground and the base of the neck on the inside, both need a little more defining imo.
Good job though

Sadhbh was transformed in to the form of a Doe by Fer Doirich , the dark druid of the Men of Dea , when she refused his love.
While travelling to the castle of the Fianna of Ireland, she was found by Fionn while he was out hunting.
Sadhbh finally transformed back in to the beautiful woman that she once was. She and Fionn fell in love and were married.
Later, out of trickery, Fer Doirich found her once again, and returned her to her doe state, leaving behind Fionn, and their child Osin.

in the place of gradient effect u have to put sm another background..... so maybe it look more real then now..

author says:

Taking your suggestion. I added a different back to replace the gradient.
Thank you.

Amazing work, and love the Greek and Roman Gods and Goddess. The shading is fantastic, and your use of scrolling is great. I can see myself entering a garden to look at this temple. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

why yr image is removed from competition many times....???

author says:

I am new to this website and did not understand the depth of the rules. I am also new to entering contests. I'm a beginner using Photoshop, completely self taught. Entering contest is something I had never tried before.

Yes the image was removed multiple times by the mods. I had to supply proof of purchase for other images used, an SBS guide and there was an issue with a brush and crediting an author.

I'm still a bit confused over all of it as I see many entries that do not have the requirements I needed to provide. But, I will understand in time with the wonderful help of the Mods in the forum.

The most important point is I am having a wonderful time and very much enjoying this website.

Thank you for asking.
