I like the idea. It's a vary cute composition
The shadows on the dog and the "bone" don't mach. And using refine selection and Decontaminate color is a good idea for removing that green fur on the kitty. And you can tweak the exposure a bit so all the segments mach. A soft color overlay might do the job.
Thanks Nichev for taking the time to make some helpful advice. I worked on the changes you suggested, I think it made the work better.

Not really fair being so cute.... goob... hehehehe.. high HIGH marks from me.. high Res needed and space between the O and F would be a big help for readability (but the message and brilliance is clear LOL)... Oh yeah..you are still a goob
(you are such a gentle talent... continue the attitude... you are beautiful
EDIT: THE WORK IS A BIG WOO HOO... high res you can see the excellence great job
Cool
High res please!
Interesting idea - i just think you need to try and match your focal distance for the image. Some things are a lot more blurred than others, while some parts are quite sharp. GL.
wow its so crystal clear and beautiful.amazing job author
very creative and excellent.. well Golem has already told everything.. i jus need to echo.. hats off..
I love the image, good luck
Perfect idea and result! Looks amazing and lol at the humor.
Funny idea. In case you want a bit more interaction between the fishes and the mermaid, you can rotate the fishes a bit so that the heads are more towards the mermaid. But ok, maybe then the story will be way different than what you had in mind. Good luck!
Congrats for your second place!
thank you!
congrats!

Now THAT was a really fascinating contest to enter for me.
I guess because I had to leave my country at a very young age, I have a very good memory of my early years.
This is an image I0ve had in my head for many many years. According to my parents, because of the blinds I must have been less than 3, because we moved after that.
I'm in my crib, where my mum put me for nap. It's probably very sunny outside, and I remember crying and crying because one little piece of the blind was broken and it was frightening me.
Really it was fascinating recreating the image I had in my head for so many years!
Alot made in PS, I had to recreate the wallpaper with a brush I luckily found, but took alot of work.

You might want to soften the edges of the camel to match the sharpness of the surrounding image.
send me a PM so I can illustrate.
Also when adding shadows make the 'connection' of the two surfaces similar in darkness. i.e. the camel looks a bit like it's floating because the darkness of the shadow you made doesn't match the parts of the camel that are meant to be in contact.
The shadows are about right in strength, you just need to add that much darkness to the camel as well, or lighten it up where it's darker. If you don't understand what I mean (which wouldn't surprise me because sometimes I don't express myself very well
PS: Just want to help!
Hee-hee! Sweet!
Thanks!
