It's not an easy source... besides i used the source picture around 2/4 on my work.
Why not use the source tree as well?
I tried to use it as a tree but i didn't quite the way it looked so ended up by getting external trees.
Thanks for the suggestion Nator, but I'll keep it this way >.
WOW !!! extrememly nice!

Not a bad idea, but castles are a bit distorted
I don't get the black bands and I think the title would make more sense if there were crosses, for example, atop the steeples. Perspectives are totally mismatched: background source is looking down while contest source is looking up.
Here you can see . mountains somewhere deep and high ! Comprised in categories I think the church is the right place ! thanks for advice
looks beautiful
nice idea and fine execution but IMHO maybe would be better without church repetition...GL
very nice idea and nicely imaged

Nice fine detail with the falling debris to show the tree's movement.
Very creative idea.. wonderful work
Edit: In my opinion the kite doesn't add much to the image, still it's your vision. Great entry anyway G'luck!!
WOW this image is definately worth the time! the sources are well chosen and fitted nicely into the image
Wow, pretty fricken neat! The high rez is definitely worth a look; great attention to detail.
I do agree on Gareth's kite comment.
Thank you for the comments! Ponti & Elinoree thanks for the suggestion, I added it to accent the way the crane and tree are going. It gave me a better feel thats floating away from the squirrel.
Fabulous image and very nicely crafted.thats a very big tree and a lot of drag, you may want to till the nose down on the helicopter very small amount.
I think the kite is awesome, it tells a story, it adds color, and it takes your eyes on a sight seeing trip. The little squirrel is a nice cute touch too.
Fine detail and well done
Thanks! @ Warlock I tilted the nose a bit
Beautiful work!

whatta...........?
Nice idea -- the leaves look stuck on without any shape. Try a displacement map and or try different blending modes or combinations of blending modes for the leaf layers.
@ dekwid,,,, i take that as a compliment.... @ alan thanks alot! ill start working on that now!
nice image, however we can't use illustrations in our work. See if you can find the brushes
i didnt see anything that we cant use illustrations in our work...
ive gone through all FAQ and guidlines and nothing sais we cannot use illustrations in our photoshop contests. as long as its not copyrighted or previously manipulated in some way then its allowed
plus since ive been a member since wayyy back when , when this site was photoshoptalent.com ive ALWAYS seen illustrations used, and i still see them being used today
Nice! It needs some slight shadows too...
The author is right, you are allowed to use illustrations in your entries.
See for this also: http://www.pxleyes.com/guidelines/photoshop/#5.7
thats fine, im just a little surprised then because I still remember a peice of work I made for this site and it was removed because they said I used an illustration.......... Guess the mod was being a bit picky that day!
thanks for the tips, ill start working on it now
try curving the necklace part so it fits around her neck and use different shades of green
