Most often when searching the category is Sci-fi/Fantasy. By definition science fiction is fantasy, in fact the contest description mentions the overlap of the genres so I think this should be okay IMHO. I do like the image but I think the background could be more interesting.

Good concept, but the tower photo is very noticeably more blurred in comparison to the twin towers in front of it. You should try to find two photos with similar focus...

Artistic and fun!!! The way you used the sails for their raincoats is great. Part of the ship to make their little pirate hats too.

I agree with Christy, a darker umbrella, with the color matching the dress would be still more beautiful.

Her hair is too fluffy for being in a downpour like that...

Why not put her umbrella above her head? It would make the dry hair seem more realistic. However, it's a great idea and I like the difference with the red tones and the grayscale so good luck!

Great blend author,but would be better if u do few more things to make this very nice entry better.Select river and the bushes from the right side,pain it with some bronze color for the example and play with blend mode's a bit.If u do that u will achieve same color as the temple from the left side and...just an idea...good luck author...
