In this entry, I combined a photo of a bird's nest with the tiny leaf. I just used "magic wand" to erase the unnecessary details plus to make the fusion more realistic, I applied a brown color overlay effect.
Please Vote for my work! It would be very greatly appreciated. Thanks! =) (5 years and 3417 days ago)
Think about it, how can a nest be made on a tree like that?
Idea is interesting, but Ressiv has the point; nest needs at least a branch to hold it. Or a hole in the trunk.
I agree with Ressiv and erikuri, but I think the intent was to imply a hole in the tree with the depth of the nest itself. Perhaps some more shading would create more depth (under the nest, perhaps). Nice blend regardless. Good luck.
I guess, I missed some details to put the bird's nest with... well, Thanks for your comments I got enlightened^^
great idea ! g l
a hires would be nice
not a bad idea

Lovely! Very imaginative! The cracks don't seem too realistic, but other than that it's excellent!
I did a cracked egg piece once and used a broken auto windshield as the texture to create the cracks in the egg. I got lots of compliments on it, maybe that would work to help you here.
Love the concept, GL
Nice... What's going to be born? Is it... dangerous? Cute?
Beautiful!! High marks from me...Best of Luck

Very nicely done!
I love it because your SBSs are amazing and you started with a simple draw! great !!!
I have to disagree about the SBS's sorry The entry is great though!
Very nice work...gl author
this is a bit too nice to be in a video game.. looks more like a work that belongs in a history book .. IMHO.. basically.. IT'S too GOOD!!
It's more surreal.. and who ever parked that boat.. I'd kill the valet... giggle snort
Not sure it exactly fits the fantasy theme, but it's very well put together, great boat drawing, too, and love the colors. (This isn't just running aground, this is running very hard aground! You just can't get good valet service in those parts.)
very nice work author
My friend... you are sensational in making ships... It's an image I 'd put in a frame!

The nest and butterflies and basic robin shapes were created from the source branch photo. Please see hi res and SBS for details. Robin is made from scratch with liquify, brush tools and smudge tool. Thanks to taliesin and mrmac04 at morguefile.com for the beautiful dogwood photos. The baby bird photo is my own. (5 years and 3553 days ago)
Very realistic work!
cute and awesome work ! original idea
this is beautiful work, especially on the bird, looks so real!
I kind of wish it wasn't so tall. I have to zoom all the way out to see the whole thing but kudos to your creations of the robin and the nest. GL!

blending is superb author..
I love the tones you used...the blending is well done, and the mood is just right.
I LOVE that you used a vintage model. She's perfet!
wow nice work author..
Simplicity at it's best.
great image author, but you didn't really do anything to the source image..i think you played it a little too safe, i like the over all tones and vintage feel
No, i usually like to keep the source image intact and i don't really consider it playing it safe, but thank you all the same. And thank you for all the comments and the favourites (h)
This is a very good manipulation. "Simple" can be just as effective as CBR (chopped beyond recognition), sometimes even better.
I agree that the vintage feel is very well done. Nice image!
why the string on the bird... such a perfect image...
Cool!..like it a lot.
I think its a beautiful image. I love that you didn't chop the hell out of the bird
Nice one author, well done
What a lovely creation...Nice job author! GL!
