interesting
Nice job!! Only suggestion I would give is the splash around the whale is a little too bright for the lighting of the setting sun. Maybe soften it a little and have it follow the shadows of the tails of the other whales. Good Luck
ok i make some changes hop its better now thanks christy
Beautiful and clean work.

Fantastic.
Very nice finish
Once I went to full view, for some reason I knew you made this. Only suggestion would be for a sharper eye to match the rest of the body. Good entry regardless. Good luck!
Lovely!
It's a new fairy tail- The ugly duckling and the ugly fish

HI everybody, this is my first competition entry and I hope you like my work.
Basicly for this image I got a nice countryside backround. Found a chair and cut it out. Onto the chair I put the competition image, firstly though, I cut it out and puppet wrapped it so it looks like a helmet. Then I added a camo texture to the helmet and played around with the different blend modes. Lasty I put everuthing together by adding some extra shadows, and then I added a nice Brown and Orange gradiend and blended that to look nice.
Take care! (5 years and 3489 days ago)
Welcome to the competition. Just a thought for your entry... The shadow on the chair doesn't match the high noon image it is placed on. It also looks like you distorted the image of the chair (if you hold down shift while resizing the aspect ratio will remain constant thus avoiding the distortion).
Also a high res copy would be nice so that we can see what you did with the turtle shell.
Cheers and good luck.
Have to admit, the shadow is fascinating . It's not correct, but on the other hand...who cares . A high resolution version would be nice though (if you want that, then go to topnavigation My stuff - My contests, there you see your entry and then you can check the option High Resolution, something like that...). Good luck!
good luck

Nice printing effect, very retro and hippie!
Pretty simple but a nice effect. I would fade some parts of the flower more to match the faded patches on the jeans though.
Looks very convincing and great job matching the flowers into the jeans. I am impressed GL Author

The perspectives of the horses and riders are a little off. They're too big.
jawshoewhah Thanks any better?I saw they pxle bad the smaller I make them
did you download the high resolution version of the source1 image? i'm asking because the cowboys look kinda weird. like you used an awkward combination of filters on em. also, they're too blurry compared to the rest of the image, especially the background when they are supposed be the ones in focus. but the chopping must have taken forever!
Yes but flickr has changed the way photo's come up now I took largest picture but when you make them smaller they pixle I thought it would be good but maybe I should have left alone yea it was a lot of chopping I don't like way pictures come up on flickr now I don't know if I have enough time to re do
The parade is indeed nice, but the shadows are weak (compared with shadows on right side of image) and the rear paraders seem oversized relative to the parade watchers.
The rear paraders if you look at blond girl standing and guy on horse they look same size. The horses were re sized before
good shadows
