The sorceress found some magical rocks which glow at night and create more time for the next day. (5 years and 399 days ago)
This is way cool. Love the clocks!! And the theme too. My only suggestions are that there are dark outlines on her fingers on the hand to our right. Also I am not sure about that much yellow tint on the girl's face. Besides that, this chop has a lot of "WOW!!" and impact even at first glance.
Thanks BWR. That dark outline happened due to the layer effects of the stones. I tried to mask it out but it stayed wherever the mask ended. I was tired and clueless as to what to do about it last night so I left it and then forgot about it. Since you mentioned it, I ended up cloning over the area. It was the only way I could think of to fix it. If you have an easier way, I am all ears.
I also reduced the yellow tint on her face. Thank you very much for your very helpful suggestions. Much appreciated.
I understand the issue with layer effects showing where you don't want them to show. It can be tough. Without seeing your PSD it would be hard for me to say how to fix it. Maybe put another layer of the stone that doesn't have the layers effects on top of the one that does, and then mask that in only where that dark stuff was?
I don't know how you made your mask, but perhaps you made it by masking the stone into the hand? Maybe masking or copy/pasting another hand ON TOP of the stone would have worked better instead of masking the stone?
Anyways your cloning looks awesome. It's more smooth by getting rid of the wobbly look of your old mask. Looks clean. I reckon sometimes a hammer and chisel is needed in Photoshop rather than some nifty technique.
I did mask the stone into the hand. You are absolutely right that another copy of the hand placed on top of the stone would have worked much better. I will keep it in mind for next time.
I also found this tip on you tube..... How to mask layer styles.

You might find that handy too if you didn't already know about it.
I'm pleased that you think I did a good job of the cloning.
Thanks again for your help.
Wonderful video!! Funny thing is that I saw that video some time ago but completely forgot everything he said. It may have come in handy to fix your issue. We have both learned form this and that's a good thing.
Yes it is.

Beautiful
I felt so alone in this contest. But now that you are here with me, my life is good.
TY.
I know how it feels
Congrats B! See, you were not alone finaly
Yes yes. two of my favorite Photoshoppers came to visit me. You and magicalfruittuts .
Congrats well done.
I Have started liking Nemanja's tutorials more and more. Especially since he's been doing more and more compositing and manipulation stuff.
The tut I linked was pretty good. I have seen a few more by him too. He used a real cloud to make his brush. The one I used was made in PS like this. It's the only Cloud Brush I use.

I tend to go to PixImperfect for tuts. Unmesh is really good too. Or PhotoshopTrainingChannel. Jesus Ramirez is also good and was credited in the Photoshop program itself as he created something for it - I forgot what. Maybe I will check out Nemanja's channel more on your recommendation.
