A combination of Origami and Karate under a japanese shrine. The karate-people are shaped with many different parts of the origami source. (5 years and 3454 days ago)
Excellent creations, great job, however the lights aren't too convincing, try a light yellow colour and mask the areas where light shouldn't escape. I also suggest reducing the opacity of the reflections.
Good luck!
In the SBS steps 1-3 seem to be identical, and you don't show how you assembled the figures. Ponti is correct about the lighting, but this is an excellent idea.
Thanks, you're right, if people could hold their votes until tomorrow the end of the day that would be really nice. I can fix the lights than
nice job!
Cool concept, but for it to truly work for me, the figures need to look more like origami (flat planes, crisp edges) than guys in origami-like costumes.
I fixed a couple of things
Excellent changes! A lot better, good luck!
I love it heheh, the folds could be crisper but overall it does a great job of sharing the vision.
great job
nice ...............

Just a quiet night on the beach. No people to be heard or stuff to clutter it up. I hope you like it. (5 years and 3456 days ago)
nice quiet place!!! maybe add a little bit of sparkle on the reflection in the water
Is that a little better? I was trying to do something like that but didn't really know how. There is a mangled attempt from a tutorial I found.
that looks a bit better... a high res would be helpful.
I will get used to this site eventually. I uploaded again with a high res. If you have any tips on how to do a nice moonlight reflection I would appreciate it.
i would use a simple splatter brush. white as the color... vary the opacity as you paint.. then change the blend mode of your reflection layer to overlay.. .. trick is not to over do it
I think that looks a bit better. Thank you so much for the help. I haven't played with photoshop in a couple of years so I am a bit rusty.
very nice!
Nice job on the cloning. You're new I'm assuming. When I started here it was a little tough, but I have figured out the site a lot better than I use to. If you want to add some moonlight to the water. Try using the dodge tool. Adjust the opacity of the dodge to about 40% and mess around with the brush settings. And to make it look really good. Try to spread the light across the water and fade it as it gets closer to side. Do you know what I mean?
romantic,and nice
Thanks Jaescoe. I tried a little of that and re-uploaded. I used to play here before the switch to pxleyes but that profile I guess was lost. It has been about 2 years though.
Thats original I think it's good of you to try to learn from other peoples suggestions. Good luck!
good luck

One of those cold nights with drizzle...
- Thanks to mconnors at morguefile.com (5 years and 3466 days ago)
nice how long have u been using photoshop?
Creative idea. Perspective issue: If we're looking up at the light, why can we see down onto the socket holding the bulb? Shadow issue: If the socket is wider than the bulb, how can the skinnier lamp post be lit? And why is the light intense on the ground but not on the even-closer buildings?
nice work ......... all the best to u ..........
nice idea.....
Cool...
nice idea
great usage of source.......good luck

great creation of night life............. all the best ..........
It's a nice image but I think the ants being more in focus would have made it more convincing. Still a nice entry and mood you've created so GL!
