You've no need to light a night-light
On a light night like tonight,
For a night-light's light's a slight light,
And tonight's a night that's light.
When a night's light, like tonight's light,
It is really not quite right
To light night-lights with their slight lights
On a light night like tonight.
Great thanks to nuriamm (DA) for the background, falln-stock (DA) for the girl and the house. (5 years and 3577 days ago)
Very realistic rain.. great job!
Nice image GL
good..
I would probably darken her arm and face just a little as the light source is behind her, but overall a nice chop.
Thank you all for your comments. @RayTedwell:How do you know the light source is behind her ? I intended to place the glowing stars around her, and they are very bright so she becomes glowing, too. They are flying around, so you can not say exactly where they are.
I think it's the best one so far. It's nice to see people try and remember that this is an art contest and make it look interesting
... because the front of her dress and part of her arm are dark, at least the right side (or left as we see it) of her face would be a little darker. I am happy for ther to be another light source, as long as it is consistant. I guess you dont have to follow the rules of convention if you have multiple flying stars though .
@RayTedwell: Actually I did made the shadow on her face and body but laterly I think her face is the most valuable area on this picture, so I decided to lighten up by the stars aroud, also this made the scenery more mystic
Very nice!
If you tried and it didnt look like you wanted - then I applaud you for leaving it out. The image is still lovely, and it would be a shame to darken out such a cute little face anyway! I hope you don';t take any offence to my suggetions, just trying so share my perspective. Good luck in this contest - you clearly have one of the best chops here. Cheers
Howdie stranger!
