Owls perched on a branch in the middle of the night with moon and star sky. (5 years and 3651 days ago)
Not sure if this is on theme?!? I think a lot of people are a bit confused by the requirements of this one!

Ok, I accept dat i did not read the end of the theme, but I ve changed my image. However, where are the letters in dat 1?
is this on theme?
*shrugs* I'm not sure but I wish you put more into the SBS. From what I can see, you used no external source so in my opinion it's on theme.
yes but you have used brushes or somthing, and it states that it is a no no for this contest.
the background i think is too blurry, it makes it look like its bad pixled.
good luck with the entry. maybe if the snow was created with the word snow in white it would be MORE on theme. THis is just my personal idea thou. GL

What if a night light actually produced night?
Any commects/ctitique gratefully received (5 years and 3666 days ago)
VERY Clever!!!
Good idea, reflection could be more subtle...
I agree with CMYK that the reflection could be toned down a bit. Perhaps fade it out as it gets further from the bulb. Also, not a big issue (no points subtracted) but the moon should block out any stars that are behind it, so hide the three stars that should be obscured.
thanks for the feedback, i'll make those changes. I'm glad you like the idea, it was difficult to think of a pun thatdn't already been done before

its very cluttered. I would loose the flower in her hair. Also the brightness on the right hand side is distracting.
Why is she green...?
I tried to cut down the clutter by removing alot of the stardust brushes... and I figured a forest fairy would be greenish.... but just figuring out the difference between RGB and CMYK.. lol
Her color does ot bother me but I really have a hard time seeing her wings. The transparency is great but you could maybe lighten them a little. MHO and good luck.
lighted the wings
good idea with the fairy dust, looking better already author
The perspective of the wings is different to the anle of her body. You should fix that.
i like her skin color.. makes her more mysterious
o.o; hulk fairy o.o;
Nice idea but why is her skin in that color. Good luck.
So many fairy snobs here, telling you what colour the imaginary creature should be!! I like the image, except the flower in her hair is a bit much. GL
agree with Ray good luck Author
I don't think it matters that she's green. I mean, cumon! Fairies are fictional is it is? Was there a set color for all fairies? Great job.

The background doesn't show ver well so i might just delete it..
There would be no reason to delete it, if you could upload a high res version. It'll be easier to see the background then Or you could just try to make it a bit brighter. I like your idea with the owls, but I think, that it is hard to recognize them. Maybe you could try to dodge and burn them a bit, so you get a bit depth. The moon looks very good! How did you made the stars? Is it a brush? Hard to say without a high res version Good luck!
How do i re upload stuff or edit my original design? Yeh i will perhaps try and see what it does, well i drew polygonal lasso tool and the just delete the word PXLEYES into it
Have a look at this site here:

You can see in step 6 and 7, how you can change your entry
Cheers, made a small change to make it easier to see but i know it not brilliant
Brilliant or not... as long as you are satisfied, everything is ok And your changes made already a difference! Good job Just two more things now. The moonlight is coming from the left side, so maybe you could make the owls left sides (right for the viewer) a bit darker and I would still suggest to make the branch a little bit brighter, so it's a bit more visible. Good luck again
On the background it says Pyxeleyes? Wow . epic fail
It's a good first attempt, assuming you are new here but in my own opinion the use of PXLeyes as yoru type theme it's just a little too much repetition going on.
creative entry. meets the theme ,if you had applied a little dodge and burn you would get a more 3d effect to your entry. GL
nice
an owl family...how cute
