Oh you were going for old. I think it looks more like she got burned. It is a really good effect, I just see it more as burnt than old age, especially since it is only on one side. That's just my opinion
I see what you mean... If you look at the source it makes sense...or maybe i should change the title.. Thanks
Nice effect. Kinda reminds me of a poster for violence against women. Good Luck!
Not enough incorporation of the old face source. You've left so much smooth skin at the temple, cheek, ear, and neck areas that she just looks like she had a bad run in with a brick wall, not that she's aging. Remove the forehead wrinkles, and paint in some bruising and you can change the title to "after the fight."

I can never look at the Dentist the same way again!! (5 years and 3281 days ago)
Should have used the teeth from source 1.
Edit: Yep, looks better!
Yeah thanks for the idea I don't know why I think of it appreciate it !!!
Nice job blurring the bits. I think if you colorized the face it would give you more contrast against the drill bits. Right now the bits get a little lost with the background because they're the same color. Good luck!
i tried colorizing but i cant find the color that will make legitimate skin color. I either get too yellow, too orange, or too red.
Skin usually doesn't have just one color in it. I would suggest making several hue/saturation adjustment layers and painting in the face with multiple layers. After you have masked the adjustment layers you can then edit the layer for the right color.....Another option is to open a similar image of a person and just sample the colors on the face and then paint them on a new layer set to color above your image. afterwards you can just adjust the hue/saturation of the layer. Good luck! Here is a tutorial I wrote, hope it will help you.

This is very nerve wracking ... I love to hate this one! But then I am not particularly keen on Dentist ... you nailed one of my pet fears on the head!

this is an entry from the old website.. and the source image is also from there (5 years and 3286 days ago)
the link goes to Page Not Found.
no hi-res? that always helps, author.
Edit: thank you, author and moderator, the sbs was not posted when I first saw this.
Well since you have the source in SBS, i see no problem. Just remove that broken link.
Use of old PST sources is permitted as per guidelines. All sources are checked, some images were from stock sites others provided by members. As long as you can show the original uncut image in your SBS so it can be verified there's no problem. This author has done so and the source is okay.
